Plan and research for new and existing IVC/Live Interactive origination and receive classrooms for distance learning classes. Implement designs and construct classrooms to be easy to use and functional for faculty and students. Design and program control systems for room functionality and automation, ie. camera control, external peripherals etc., using Crestron equipment and Apple iPads. Designed and implemented microphone and speaker systems in classrooms and conference rooms. Install, configure and maintain Cisco telepresence devices used to interact with distance learning sites. Support classroom equipment and room operators to troubleshoot and resolve classroom equipment issues. Work with Utah Education Network (UEN) to troubleshoot and resolve network and equipment issues with Cisco telepresence devices. Work with UVU and UEN IT specialists to ensure proper linking of telepresence equipment with UEN’s IVC network for distance classroom connections.

Support IVC/Live Interactive classrooms by receiving communications from classroom operators about room or network issues that needed to be resolved. Worked with other distance education staff to quickly resolve classroom issues. Assisted in planning and designing of distance education IVC/Live Interactive classrooms. Assisted in installing control, video, and audio systems in classrooms.

Assigned specific classrooms and faculty to assist with any issues that arose with respect to classroom equipment ie. computers, DVD and Blu-Ray players, document cameras etc. Worked with Distance Education personnel to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues. Reported network or external site issues to UEN.

Oversee management of evening grocery stockers. Responsibilities included acting as receiver and working with vendors and delivery drivers. Working with management of the store. Help resolve customer questions and concerns regarding grocery items.

Responsible for safety of store merchandise and employees. Direct responsibility for general care, maintenance and repair of security equipment including recording devices, monitors and cameras. The writing of reports relating to the arrest of shoplifters and other violators for Police and Prosecutor’s use.

Assist the Evening Crew Chief in management of evening grocery personnel. Responsible for receiving goods and working with vendors and delivery drivers. Working with store management and with customers.
